Responsible for taking on such duties as maintaining the alumni database, handling accounting and other recordkeeping tasks and working on college-sponsored events. Events include, the Dr. William G. Anderson Lecture Series Slavery to Freedom, and MSUCOM Alumni Reunion events.

Dr Burghardt went to medical school at UTSOM in Toledo, OH and trained in neurology and epilepsy/neurophysiology at Detroit Medical Center. He is assistant professor at MSU and is director of the neurophysiology fellowship and assistant director of the epilepsy fellowship. His interests are in conversion disorder, critical care EEG monitoring, and computational modeling.
