Alissa is the Administrative Assistant for the Wellness & Counseling office, and an advisor to Peer Mentors. She has worked at MSUCOM since 2010. Alissa enjoys working with students, and helping them schedule appointments for anything from counseling and peer mentoring, to meditation and mindfulness. In addition to her role at MSUCOM, Alissa enjoys summer, reading, writing, and spending time with her son.

David Boes, DO, FACOOG is an Associate Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties and a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, with a medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and residency at Detroit Osteopathic Hospital. Dr. Boes has extensive experience in teaching and service, as a board member and the past president of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOOG).
