Jacquelyn Charbel, DO, FACOS, FACS is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties in Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine. She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. After completing residency training in general surgery through the Henry Ford Health System in the metro Detroit area, she completed a fellowship in minimally invasive colon and rectal surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. Further, Dr. Charbel participates in surgical education for the Michigan State University surgical residents and medical students. She enjoys a combination of clinical and academic pursuits within university.
