Technical Support

Technology support for the college is managed by MSUIT. Your first stop to get help is the Technology at MSU website where you can put in a service request or chat with support. The service desk can also be reached by phone at (517) 432-6200 or toll free at (844) 678-6200.

Faculty/Staff Directory

The directory includes all College of Osteopathic Medicine faculty and staff.  It is prepopulated with some basic information such as name and department(s).

Zoom

MSU Zoom is a cloud-based solution for video and audio conferencing, mobile collaboration, and online meetings and Webinars. Zoom's web-based conferencing uses high-quality video and audio and is accessible on MacOS, Windows, iOS and Android mobile devices. Additionally, Zoom can be used with conventional phone lines for audio conferencing. Finally, this online solution can also connect to existing Polycom, Tandberg, LifeSize, and similar devices.

Virtual Private Network (VPN)

MSUIT protects data transferred over the MSU network by assessing, installing, and configuring security devices, such as firewalls and intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) systems.

The MSU SSL Virtual Private Network provides the MSU community with a way to connect securely to the MSU campus network. This SSL VPN connection works from any location, whether in East Lansing or anywhere around the world.

  • Log into the SSL VPN service using your MSU NetID at vpn.msu.edu.
