FINGERPRINTING POLICY

All entering students need to be fingerprinted to verify their identity.  Here is how you order your fingerprints:

  1. Go to www.CertifiedBackground.com and click on the Students link found on the right side under ‘Order Now’.
  2. In the Package Code box, enter: MI37
  3. Select a method of payment ($68.00).  CertifiedBackground.com accepts Visa, MasterCard, and money orders.
  4. Students will enter all appropriate information and then they will find the closest location to do the fingerprinting.
  5. Students will schedule the appointment and the time that works best for them.
  6. Once students are finished with the on-line registration they will print out the confirmation page and take it to the fingerprinting appoinment.
  7. For the appoinment, students must also have a valid driver's license (or other valid photo id) and must have completed a "Live Scan Application Form" (click on link below, download the form and complete the form).
  8. The results of the fingerprinting will be sent to the Associate Dean/Student Services (William M. Falls, Ph.D.) at MSUCOM.
