Josh Vance wins Silver at World Championships October 30, 2003 MSUCOM student Josh Vance and Keith Douglas won a silver medal in the double-mini trampoline team competition at the Trampoline World Championships in Hanover, Germany, October 16-19. Vance is ranked 19th in the world in the sport, the second top American behind his teammate. He's anticipating competing again at the World Championships in the Netherlands in 2005. He's planning to be in his residency in Grand Rapids at that point, making regular practice much easier. At present, Vance has been commuting from East Lansing to a facility in Grand Rapids in order to practice. For more information, visit the USA Gymnastics website at |
