Students Build with Habitat for Humanity

April 29, 2000

Over sixty MSUCOM students, faculty and staff joined in for a work day with Habitat for Humanity on April 29.  This effort was the culmination of fundraising efforts through Vegas Night 2000, which raised over $8,000 in contributions for MSU Habitat for Humanity.  Sarah Strong and Sean Maiorano presented the check at the Habitat board meeting Thursday April 27.

Students were eager to pitch in and offer assistance.  Projects for the day included framing on a site off Martin Luther King Boulevard in south Lansing and yard and grounds work on another site in East Lansing.
