UAAO Holds Mongolian Fundraiser

On October 5, the Undergraduate American Academy of Osteopathy
(UAAO) held its first ever fundraiser at the Mongolian BBQ in
Okemos, MI. More than 140 participants enjoyed stir fry cooked
by UAAO members and MSUCOM faculty.
Around $340 was raised during the event. The proceeds will be
used to help send student to the annual UAAO national convention
in Colorado Springs, Colorado in March. The annual convention
is an opportunity for the students to hone their OMT skills,
learn new OMM techniques, and meet physicians, residents and
other osteopathic medical students from across the nation.
