A Dash for Cash:
"Monster" Fundraising at MSUCOM
October 29, 2000
| This
fall, two days before Halloween, the monsters were already out
in broad daylight. They had come to take part in the MSUCOM Student
Osteopathic Medical Association's "Monster Dash,"
a 5K charity race. With proceeds going to one of MSUCOM's favorite
causes, Special Olympics Area 9, 200 registered entrants showed
up to enjoy a balmy fall Sunday, run a race, and raise money for
a good cause. Some brought their Halloween costumes and a few more
brought their endurance. |

Okemos coming in second with a time of 15:56.0.
