Students from the MSUCOM's International Health Project held a "Travel
Fair" on October 6. Many of the college's first- and second-year students
have experience abroad working and volunteering in hospitals and orphanages,
small villages and big cities. In addition to learning about new cultures,
they have helped provide health care and other services to those in need. Some
of the countries MSUCOM students have visited include, India, Poland, Ghana,
Guatemala, Peru, Zambia, and Costa Rica, among others.
Students gathered in Fee Hall during lunch, on Wednesday, October 6, to share
photos, souvenirs and stories of their trips, while other came to learn about
international opportunities. Among the IHP's goals is to promote travel opportunities
and help students find funding and other resources to support their trips.
