PeaceJam Helps Heart and Sole Shoe Campaign

Twelve students from the Kalamazoo area arrived at Fee Hall last week in several vans packed with shoes for the Heart and Sole Shoe Campaign. Heart and Sole, a non-profit organization based at MSUCOM collects shoes from across the state of Michigan and sends them all over the globe where they are given to needy children and adults.

Already a portion of 283 pairs of shoes have been sent to places like Ethiopia where wearing shoes are necessary to prevent the spread of disease.
