Month in Review

February 2008

* The 2008 MOCF Ball was held on Saturday, February 23, at the Ritz-Carlton, Dearborn.  More than 720 guests enjoyed an evening of conversation, elegant dining, and dancing.  The event was endorsed by 54 organizational sponsors and generated net proceeds of approximately $195,000 for the MOCF Endowment, which provides funds for student scholarships, community outreach, and educational programs at MSUCOM.

* Gary Visner, DO, MSUCOM Class of 1981, has been named the “Mary Ellen Beck Wohl Endowed Chair in Pediatric Pulmonology” at Children’s Hospital, Boston, Harvard School of Medicine.

Charles Sherrod, The Rev.
