*       MSUCOM hosted a welcome luncheon on December 3 for Donald Sefcik, DO, MBA, new Senior Associate Dean for the college.

*       Gretchen L. Birbeck, MD, MPH, DTMH, FAAN, Associate Professor, Department of Neurology and Ophthalmology, has been elected a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Neurology.  Dr. Birbeck also served as part of a World Federation of Neurology delegation invited to Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia to assess their neurologic program.
