The 211 members of the Class of 2011 took their
first step into the osteopathic profession with MSUCOM's Convocation and
White Coat ceremony which was held at the Wharton Center on June 29, 2007.
At the ceremony, Thomas C. Gentile, M.S.A. was recognized with the Thomas
V. Angott Award, which is presented to a non-physician layperson who has
shown leadership in osteopathic education and demonstrated strong advocacy
with government, community organizations, industry and education for osteopathic
medical education.
