Visitors
to the college received free health assessments, hands-on demonstrations
in the new OMM lab and listened to actual medical case presentations
from MSUCOM faculty.
The Michigan State University
College of Osteopathic Medicine held its annual Open House on
Friday, March 28, 2003. Hundreds of people, including many prospective
students, made their way through Fee Hall to learn more about
the world of osteopathic medicine.
Prospective
students also got an up-close look at student life, with presentations
and tours lead by current MSUCOM students. They were also able
to speak to admissions staff and and get a preview of the college
curriculum.
Open House activities also included an Art Exhibit featuring work
by students, faculty, staff and even some former patients.
