The College of Osteopathic Medicine's Class of 2004 celebrated its Hooding
and Commencement Ceremony on Thursday, May 6 at the Wharton Center. Friends
and family came out to share the occasion with their graduates. This year's
graduating class turned out 133 new D.O.s.
The commencement speaker was Rear Admiral Joyce Johnson, D.O., M.A. Recently
retired as the chief medical officer of the U.S. Coast Guard, Dr. Johnson is
a member of the MSUCOM Class of 1980.
