MSUCOM Advocates

The Grassroots Advocacy Program is a joint effort between the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Michigan Osteopathic Association to effect legislative and policy issues impacting the osteopathic profession.

Participating in this program is an opportunity to show your pride in your profession, to raise awareness about osteopathic medicine and to ensure the professions involvement in health policy decisions.

As an advocate you are asked to attend one local fundraiser, coordinate two personal meetings with your assigned policy maker and to contribute to the Michigan Osteopathic Political Action Committee.

For more information, contact the MSUCOM External Programs office at (517) 432-4979 or MOA at (517) 347-1555.
