Giving Tree and Food Drive Program

Dec. 8, 2003

MSUCOM is once again working with the Salvation Army to sponsor a Giving Tree and Food Drive Program. This year, the college is working with the Salvation Army's Christmas Toy Shop program. The program provides a selection of donated items for parents of registered families in the Greater Lansing area to choose from. Therefore, unlike in the past, there is no specific item on the gift tag. Please donate a gift of your choice — a toy or clothing — for any age group you would like. Keep in mind, there are usually very few toys that are donated for ages 10 to 13.

The Giving Tree has been set up outside E105 Fee Hall. Pick a tag from the tree and return it with an unwrapped gift to A-439 East Fee Hall. Please return your gift no later than Monday, December 15, 2003.

In addition, non-perishable food items are also being collected this year. Collection boxes are placed near the Giving Tree, outside of E-105 classroom.

If you have any questions, please contact Sharon Husch (353-4467), Michelle Kost (353-2459) or Patti Wilkins (353-9110)
