As you know, MSUCOM is not only the place where we began our professional
life, but it is also a powerful force for shaping our practices,
our medical knowledge and the future of the osteopathic profession.
Under its banner, we as alumni together can have an impact, whether
through ensuring the continuation of excellence in osteopathic education
or learning about health policy that affects our lives and our patients.
Of course, there are a lot of direct benefits for us too - Silverfest,
CME programs, Seminar in the Sun, alumni luncheons at AOA, and more!
We want to do even more for you, so please complete the recent questionnaire
we sent to find out your needs after graduation.
The alumni will be involved in providing input to MSUCOM's self-study
this year, the document that forms the foundation for our accreditation
site visit.
For those of you who have contributed to scholarships to support
MSUCOM's students, thank you! For a single in-state student living
on the frugal budget established through financial aid, the total
cost to graduate from MSUCOM is $153,528; for out-of-state students
it is $232,728. Your generosity is both appreciated and needed.
I urge you to make the most of your connections to a great institution
by participating. Get involved in events, donate, stay connected,
teach, advocate, and join the Alumni Association so we can better
do all of these things together!
