News Update From: Suzanne A. Law, D.O. (used to be Suino), Class of 1997

Received: May 15, 2007

After graduation, I completed a residency in general surgery at Ingham Regional Medical Center. I then practices for four years in Gainesville, FL, and just moved back to Michigan last fall. I know practice general surgery at Henry Ford BiCounty Hospital and Mt. Clemens Regional Medical Center.

Unfortunately, I got divorced about halfway through my residency; hence the name change. I remarried and now have a wonderful husband and two and a half year old son. Now I know this will come as a shock to a lot of you, but I also converted to Islam, and it is the best thing that has ever happened to me. (Don’t believe everything you read and see on TV about Islam. Most of it is completely false.)

Memories of MSUCOM:

Scribing, the “S” row, lucky test pants, anatomy lab (“I don’t need to take the prosecting class. I’ll never need that” Ha!), Cole’s do-rag, Ken Gallmore’s umbrella, Fee Follies, and of course Dr. Siew (Don’t you think she would get along great with Christina from “Grey’s Anatomy?”)

To My Classmates:

Hi everyone! I’m not sure I’ll make it to Silverfest or to the reunion in August, but I’m going to try. If any of you  are ever down my way, look me up.

To Angie, Pat and Elain: I miss you all lots and hope we can see each other soon!
