Three Alumni awarded MCOP grants

The Michigan Osteopathic Association's (MOA) Michigan Council of Osteopathic Pysicians (MCOP) awarded three MSUCOM alumni MOA core grants. Keith Barbour, D.O., '83 alumnus received a grant for the Harvest Festival and Health Fair while Timothy Kval, D.O., and Gregory Stempky, D.O., both '96 alumni recieved a grant for Children's Healthy Diet and Meal Plan.

The MOA Core Grant was established in 2007 to recognize and support those initiatives that exhibit a commitment to primary car and prevenetion, one of the unique tenets of osteopathic medicine and the "core" of good health.
