Alumni Endowed Scholarship
The
MSUCOM Alumni Endowed Scholarship was
established to provide College of Osteopathic Medicine students with financial
assistance through contributions from the college's alumni and friends. The
debt load that medical students incur averages around $130,000 for four years.
The MSUCOM Alumni Association recognizes that scholarship opportunities are
critical for medical students and for recruitment of prospective students.
Scholarship recipients are in their second, third or fourth year of medical school and are selected on the basis of the following criteria: financial need, Michigan residency, commitment to serving the people of Michigan, and likely future participation in the MSUCOM Alumni Association.
