Three alumni and one faculty member named ACOFP fellows
Deborah Bennett, D.O., Elizabeth Hengstebeck, D.O., Frank Komara, D.O. and Kathleen Rollinger, D.O., were named fellows of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians in a ceremony last week at the annual ACOFP Convention and Scientific Seminars in Kissimmee, Florida.
They were honored for their dedication to the osteopathic profession and for their contributions through authorship, research and leadership in the advancement of family practice.
Bennett practices in Kingman, Arizona and Rollinger practices at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Both are 1986 graduates of MSUCOM. Hengstebeck is currently an assistant professor at the MSU College of Human Medicine.
A professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, Komara also serves as director of the geriatric fellowship.
