Registrations are accepted via check or credit card. Due to MSU’s credit card security standards we are unable to process any credit card registrations by phone or fax. Early bird tuition must be paid in full 30 days prior to the start date of the course. Preregistration is required and the participant must attend the entire course to receive credit.
Registration is contingent upon any prerequisites, available class slots, and clearance of payment. Please do not confirm any travel arrangements until you receive confirmation of your enrollment in the course. A confirmation letter with receipt for payment will be mailed, time permitting.
The manual medicine courses are restricted to licensed D.O.s, M.D.s, P.T.s and D.D.S.s. Courses are designed to build upon each other. Therefore, attendance is allowed only to those who have had the prerequisite training. Click here for series sequencing.
"Principles of Manual Medicine" is designed for those who have not had any or recent manual medicine clinical exposure. “Principles of Manual Medicine" is a prerequisite course for all other postgraduate manual medicine courses offered by the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Repeat course fees are for participants who would like to retake the same course that they have taken through MSUCOM in the past. Example: If you took Muscle Energy in 2010 and would like to take Muscle Energy again in 2012, you would qualify for the repeat tuition price.
Cancellations must be received in writing 30 business days before the start of the class. You will receive a refund, minus a $200.00 cancellation fee. After this period, tuition paid is non-refundable. Please email your cancellation to email@example.com. Expenses incurred by participants due to course cancellations will not be the responsibility of the MSUCOM Office of Continuing Medical Education.
Please make your overnight accommodations at TownePlace Suites in East Lansing at 517-203-1000 and mention the course you are attending through MSUCOM to ensure the conference rate. Reservations must be made at least 30 days prior to the start date of the course to assure housing. The studio rooms feature a queen sized bed, stove, refrigerator and microwave. TownePlace Suites is located at 2855 Hannah Blvd., East Lansing, MI 48824.
There is no airport shuttle to the hotel from the Capital Region International Airport (LAN), though taxi service is available. If you choose to fly into Detroit (DTW), there is a door-to-door deluxe bus service, the Michigan Flyer, between Detroit Metro Airport and the East Lansing Marriott. If you stay at the TownePlace Suites, they will be providing morning and afternoon shuttle service to and from the course. If you drive in daily, please call our office to make arrangements two weeks before the start date of your course and we will provide you with tokens. Parking is located in lot 32.
Manual Medicine courses are sponsored by the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Office of Continuing Medical Education. Upon completion of the course, a certificate of attendance reflecting hours of attendance is provided.
