The Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is committed to excellence in osteopathic education, research, international outreach and service.
The Office of Admissions seeks to:
- Facilitate a holistic admission process that ensures development of a diverse and dynamic cadre of osteopathic physicians to provide exceptional health care globally in the twenty-first century
- To provide exceptional customer service to those seeking to become osteopathic physicians
- To foster an environment for candidate success through programming and counseling
- To develop and implement outreach and recruitment programs supportive of college and university goals
- To collaborate with underserved communities to develop resources that enhance underserved participation in medical career opportunities

A. Admissions
Guidance opportunities through presentations, webinars and one on one advising to support education, preparation, and successful admission for individuals or groups representing:
- Pre-college, undergraduate, and graduate students
- Non-traditional candidates
- Canadian and International candidates
- Veterans
- Dual program candidates (DO/PhD, DO/MBA, DO/MPH)
B. Outreach
Promotion of opportunities in osteopathic medicine through organizations such as:
- American Association of Osteopathic Medicine
- Michigan Science Teachers Association
- 4-H
- Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA)
- Pre-Students of Osteopathic Medicine Association (Pre-SOMA)
- MSU Future DOcs-GATE
- MSUCOM OsteoCHAMPS
